iPad 2 and iPhone 2 are “next step” workshops available through Ridgefield Continuing Education.
iPhone 2 (Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 10 to noon) starts with a quick review of all the basic functions learned in iPhone I and then moves on to more advanced functions, such as fully using the Internet, apps, calendar, folders, and maps.
iPad 2 (Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 7 to 9 p.m.) covers more advanced features such as facetime video chat and the texting app. Participants will learn how to customize and personalize an iPad home screen, how to use iCloud, and how to download and update apps, music, videos, and other content from iTunes.
iPad Photography (Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m.) is to learn how to take better pictures, edit and enhance photos.
Participants need an iPad and Apple/iTunes ID and password. Classes meet at the Venus Building (old high school; use Governor Street entrance).
