Brian Batterton, a graduate of Ridgefield High School Class of 2012, died unexpectedly in his sleep on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at his home in Warren.
He was born July 13, 1994 at Danbury Hospital and lived most of his life in Ridgefield. He enjoyed music (especially Bob Dylan), chess, nature and the company of friends and family. He also loved his rescue dog Troy.
He is survived by his family: father Kevin Batterton, mother Lisa Batterton, sister Brittany Batterton, stepmother Susan Batterton, stepsisters Nicole and Danielle Kerz and his maternal grandfather Richard Zagrzecki, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service is planned for Monday, Nov. 23, at the Community Unitarian Church in White Plains, Rosedale Avenue, White Plains, N.Y. at 11:30 a.m. Guests are welcome to pay their respects starting at 10:30 am.
