The Seven Steps to Designing a Room workshop, available in Ridgefield Continuing Education, focuses on finding your signature style, determining your signature color palette, establishing designated activities for the room, and drawing a floor plan as some of the steps covered in this workshop.
Class members may bring measurements of a room in their home either sketched on paper with measurements indicated – note windows and doors – or drawn to scale on one half inch graph paper to create a design plan for during class. Instructor is Linda Keefer.
The class meets on Friday, Nov. 20 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Venus Building (old high school). Cost is $31. Other classes available are Intro to Interior Design Styles 101 on Monday, Dec. 7, (7 to 9 p.m.; $31) and Designers Tips to Chic Rooms on Fridays, Dec. 4 and 11, (1 to 2:45 p.m.; $44). A small materials fee is payable at class. Advanced registration required. Visit www.ridgefieldschools.org or phone Peggy Bruno at 203-431-2812.
