Your child will learn the fundamentals of diving in Ridgefield Parks & Recreation’s Springboard Diving Camp. This exciting entry-level diving program is for beginners ages 6 to 16. Students will learn front approaches, back presses, basic dives, and drills; and advance individually as they master each element. Camp runs from Monday, Aug. 3, to Friday, Aug. 7, at Barlow Mountain pool and meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
If your child is a gamer then they’ll love our Video Animation Gaming Camp. Students, ages 8 to 13, will be using the software program Scratch, developed by the MIT Media Institute to create animation, music videos, Pac-Man like games, and more. Camp runs from Monday, Aug. 3, to Friday, Aug. 7, at the Recreation Center and meets from 9 to noon.
Our popular Adventure Day Camp offers one-week camps at the Recreation Center until Aug. 14. Campers, ages 3 to 13, will participate in sports, games, arts and crafts, water fun, nature exploration, and team-building activities. Campers will enjoy either off-site or in-house field trips.
