Bailey Avenue passersby may have noticed a for sale sign at The Ridgefield Press building.
The building, owned by the Nash family, has been for sale since February and Press Publisher Thomas Nash wants readers to know that it’s only the building that’s for sale and not the newspaper itself, which he said shows no signs of slowing down despite the general condition of the industry.
A buyer of the building would likely retain the Press staff as second floor tenants. The building has not been fully occupied since 2007 when the Press’s owner, Hersam Acorn Newspapers, moved production to an office in Shelton.
