Christopher John Sieber, age 48 of Norwalk, died on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Peekskill, NY, the son of Helen (Curtis) and the late Dr. Arvid Sieber, he worked as a commodities broker, eventually founding his own brokerage firm, High Grade Trading.
In 2001, Christopher married his best friend and love of his life, Julia Gallagher Sieber and they raised 3 beautiful children; Griffin 12, Riley 11, and Samantha 7. He is also survived by his siblings: Steve (Claudia), Michael (Colleen), James (Mary) Sieber, Ellie Kohl (Ron), Mia Dudas (John) and Laurie Bates (Aaron), as well as many nieces, nephews, and his wife Julie’s large and extended family.
Christopher was an avid gardener, taking after his grandfather, a Yankee and Rangers fan, and despite his family’s attempted interventions, remained a steadfast Cowboys fan. Chris loved learning for learning’s sake. Inspired by his father and following his passion for helping people, he recently earned his Nursing Degree from Fairfield University.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11AM on Monday, June 1 at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr . Conlon Place, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
