I hope everyone has a File of Life from the fire department.
It should be placed on the refrigerator with all the telephone numbers of your children on it. It is good to check the information now and again just to make sure it’s up to date. Fill out the form in pencil. Then, if you have to make a change, it’s easier.
If you are going to the hospital in an emergency, it saves time getting in touch with your family. Your ambulance crew knows to look for it.
If you have used the ambulance service and get a bill from the town of Ridgefield Fire Department Ambulance Service and they haven’t taken your Medicare or insurance number, don’t panic. Call 1-800-336-6402 and give them your Medicare number and insurance number.
If you have any problems, call 203-431-2717 and ask for Jane in the finance department at town hall and she will help you.
Please do not hesitate to use the ambulance. This is very important, especially for seniors.
