The Louise McKeon Chamber Music Series will end its season today with performances by members of the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra at the Keeler Tavern Museum, 132 Main Street. The concert will take place Sunday, May 10, at 3 p.m. in the Garden House overlooking the beautiful brick-walled garden just coming into spring bloom.

Different groups of young musicians, all members of the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra, known as WCYO, will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, John D. Stevens, Antonin Dvorak, Camille Saint-Saëns, Lars-Erik Larsson, Lennie Neihaus, Franz Schubert, Stephen Katz with Derek Snyder, and Samuel Barber. WCYO is under the direction of Petko Dimitrov.

The expectation is that the accomplishments of these musicians will be enjoyed by all.

After the concert guests are invited to join with the musicians for conversation and light refreshments.

Entry is $15 adults, $12 students and seniors, and $10 for those 12 years of age or under.
For more information, call 203-438-5485 or visit keelertavernmuseum.org.

Sabina Slavin has served as chairman of the concert series, and Ellen and Murray Darvick have provided the refreshments for the entire series of concerts.
