Danbury Orthopedics, which includes a number of Ridgefield doctors, recently opened an orthopedic walk-in clinic on White Street in Danbury, called OrthoCare Express.
Ridgefield doctors at Danbury Orthopedics include Dr. Michael Brand, president of the group, Dr. John Dunleavy, Dr. Angelo Ciminiello, and Dr. Philip Mulieri.
While health care insurance is required, no appointment or referral is necessary. The practice treats sprains, strains, fractures, pain, dislocations, and sports-related injuries, including those incurred at youth and high school sporting events. The practice is equipped to provide on-site X-rays, casting and bracing.
The urgent care clinic opened officially on April 6 and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sautrday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
