David Schneider, chief executive officer of Fairfield County Bank, and Daniel Berta, president of Fairfield County Bank, presented Dean Miller, Meals on Wheels Ways and Means chair, and Joyce Ligi, Meals on Wheels co-treasurer, with a $5,000 donation.
The gift specifically supports Meals on Wheels of Ridgefield’s annual appeal to the community. It is a critical part of its fund-raising efforts and is a significant expenditure for the organization. The donation will cover all the costs associated with this year’s community appeal.
Schneider said, “We are proud to support Meals on Wheels and help them achieve their community outreach goals. They have been an extremely important fixture in Ridgefield for over 40 years and we want to ensure they continue serving the people in this community.”
