The Connecticut Forum is hosting the creators of the wildly popular podcast in June, giving a behind-the-scenes look at what went into creating the 12-part series about a 1999 Baltimore murder case.
Jamie Daniel, director of programming with The Connecticut Forum, will be a guest on this Friday’s Behind the News, on HAN Radio and the Hersam Acorn Network at 12 p.m. Friday, May 1.
Daniel will be discussing the event, “Bingeworthy Journalism: Backstage with the Creators of Serial” coming to Hartford June 10. The forum will feature co-creators Sarah Koenig and Julie Snyder.
Serial was the most popular podcast in the world last year.
Daniel will also discuss the Connecticut Forum, a non-profit serving the state with live, unscripted panel discussions among renowned experts and celebrities.
