Jacqueline Masumian will discuss the Art and Joy of Memoir Writing at the Ridgefield Library on Tuesday, April 28, at 7 p.m. She will talk about what memoir writing is, how it is different from other literary forms and why it is important for everyone, not just professional writers, to practice this art form and reap the benefits of doing so.

Masumian is the author of Nobody Home: A Memoir, her debut book. She grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, and has enjoyed careers as an actress, performing arts manager, and landscape designer. She writes short stories and personal essays and lives in Connecticut with her husband, George.

The program is part of the Write It! series that is made possible thanks to the Friends of the Library. Register at ridgefieldlibrary.org or by calling 203-438-2282.
