A Danbury man was charged with larceny in the first degree in connection with the alleged theft of over $100,000 worth of jewelry at a Ridgefield house on March 9.
Edwin W. Medina, 44, turned himself in Tuesday, April 14, at the Ridgefield Police Station after being notified police had a warrant for his arrest. He was released on $25,000 surety bond and given a May 1 date in Danbury Superior Court.
Police said, “This arrest stems from a residence that Mr. Medina was doing some work at.”
