The Ridgefield Library and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists, co-sponsors for the ARTalk series, will present Nurturing the Creative Home with Donald Rattner on Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at the library.

Mr. Rattner, a widely published architect and principal of Studio for ART and Architecture, will give a presentation about “how we cultivate creativity in our children so they grow up happy and fulfilled and able to compete in a global marketplace that rewards innovation.”

According to Mr. Rattner, household products and furnishings that are designed to cultivate creative thinking via hands-on interactivity, reconfigurabililty and problem-solving functionality are key to making home an incubator of innovation for children and adults alike.

Mr. Rattner will talk about and draw from his new title, The Creativity Catalog: 300 of the World’s Most Creative Things, and How They Can Make You Creative, Too. Books will be available for sale and signing after the presentation.
