Back by popular demand the 2014 Preschool Fair, sponsored by the Newcomers Club of Ridgefield, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Ridgefield Community Center at the Lounsbury House, 316 Main Street. There will be two sessions: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
“This is a wonderfully intimate opportunity for local preschools, and organizations who cater to preschool-aged children, to showcase their programs and organizations,” said Lori MacDonald, Newcomers vice president of community affairs. “Not only does this event give parents the chance for one-stop shopping when it comes to local programs for our kids, but it gives them hands-on access to directors and teachers.”
“In an effort to make it easy for parents to browse around, the event will offer activities and refreshments for little ones during the morning session,” said Ms. MacDonald. “Our evening session is a perfect fit for working parents who need to pop in and collect the information they need.” No RSVP is required.
