Michael Korda
Best-selling author and esteemed historian Michael Korda will discuss his just released book Clouds of Glory at the Ridgefield Library on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m.
In the book Korda interweaves Robert E. Lee’s personal life and military career into a single, compelling story, painting a vivid and admiring portrait of Lee as a general and devoted family man. Publishers Weekly refers to it as “the gold standard for Lee biographies.” Copies of Clouds of Glory will be available for sale and signing at the event thanks to Books on the Common.
Mr. Korda is the former editor-in-chief of Simon and Schuster and is the author of New York Times best sellers Hero and Ike and many other books. He lives in Dutchess County, N.Y.
