Sara and Alex Hansen, students at Veterans Park Elementary School, held their third annual lemonade stand for charity on Old South Salem Road. Every year the girls pick a charity to donate all the proceeds from the sale. This year the girls decided to support the Lyme Disease Association. The donation will be used to help uninsured children who have Lyme. Sara and Alex sold cookies, brownies, banana bread, lemonade and ice tea. They raised $142.
