The Ridgefield High School Key Club has donated $1,000 to the Western Connecticut Health Network Foundation Kids Care Club, supporting pediatric services and programs.

The club raised the money through seasonal bake sales.

Adding a personal touch to their donation, and hoping to put a smile on children’s faces, they also drew and donated superhero drawings for pediatric patients at Danbury Hospital.

“This is the third time the Ridgefield High School Key club has supported the Western Connecticut Health Network Kids Care Club program,” said Chief Development Officer Grace Linhard. “We are very thankful for their continued generosity and philanthropic leadership.”

The Ridgefield High School Key Club is a member of the Western Connecticut Health Network Kids Care Club, a philanthropic program for children and young adults under the age of 18.

For more information on the Kids Care Club, call the Western Connecticut Health Network Foundation office at 203-739-7227.
