State Rep. Jan Giegler, whose district includes northern Ridgefield, achieved a 100% voting record during the regular 2014 legislative session, according to statistics compiled by the House Clerk’s Office, which released data on members’ votes recently.
She voted on 308 pieces of legislation. Only about 33% of legislators had perfect attendance, a spokesperson for her office said.
“I have always done my best to represent the people of Danbury, New Fairfield and Ridgefield and to make sure their voices are heard at the state Capitol,” Ms. Giegler said. “I’m honored to be part of a dedicated legislature that is working to make our community and our state a better place.”
Giegler, who represents the 138th District in the General Assembly, is an assistant Republican leader and serves as ranking member on the legislature’s Public Safety & Security Committee, and also serves on the Committee on Legislative Interns, Transportation Committee and Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee.
The next regular session of the legislature will convene in January 2015.
