- In sports, a Ridgefielder has been signed with the New York Jets.

- Weir Farm National Historic Site in Wilton-Ridgefield will open the newly refurnished and refurbished Weir farmhouse and studio next weekend, May 24-25
- Two Elvis impersonators/tribute artists are performing in the area this weekend.
- The Reel Dad says the new Seth Rogen film, Neighbors, is raunchy, but has heart.
- The Dodge Durango R/T AWD is a capable alternative to the minivan.
- After press time: The Ridgefield Playhouse told The Press after the paper was already put to bed that Thursday’s Boz Scaggs show was moved to Sept. 24.
