A cat like a Kangaroo: Adopt ‘Joey’

W-ROARINGS-5.1-Joey

Hop on over to ROAR quickly to have a chance at adopting our adorable new addition — Joey, a white and orange 3-year-old male cat. His name totally fits him as he reminds me of a baby kangaroo as he is muscular and angular and has wonderful energy!

Unlike a kangaroo, Joey is not scared of people and insists on becoming friends with everyone who walks in the cat room door. It’s hard to believe that he is 3 years old (he acts like an 8-month-old) and that someone actually abandoned him in New York. He’s a cat who could make a happy addition to so many different types of households: single, empty nesters, big families with young or older children, families with other cats, families who have a cat-friendly dog. The possibilities are endless! Hands down, I would prefer him over a kitten because you know his personality and that he is a sure thing. Please come over to meet this A++ cat.

The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter, located at 45 South Street, is open Monday through Saturday, except for Wednesdays, from 11 to 3, and in addition, on Thursday nights from 6 to 8. Visit our website at roar-ridgefield.org.

“Save the date” for the Woofs, Wines and Felines wine-tasting event, Cellar XV parking lot, on June 7 from 4 to 7 p.m., $35 in advance, $45 at the door. For more information or to buy tickets, go to roar-ridgefield.org.
