The Ridgefield-based Max Michael Rosenfield Foundation announced its second annual Live Life to the Max Youth Day. This fun-filled day commemorates and celebrates the life of Max Rosenfield, who was a Farmingville student who loved sports, people, community, and service to others.

Live Life to the Max Youth Day, which includes a youth baseball clinic and college baseball game, will be held on Saturday, May 3, at the University of Hartford. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. with registration for the youth baseball clinic, which begins at 10:15 and is hosted and conducted by the University of Hartford Hawks baseball team. At noon the University of Hartford will take the field against UMBC.

Children may have their picture taken with the university mascot, Howie the Hawk, and meet the players after the game for autographs and photos. All who attend are invited to join the University of Hartford Hawks on the field for the singing of the national anthem.

Tickets for the event are $10 apiece and there is ample free parking at the stadium. Proceeds of this event benefit the Max Michael Rosenfield foundation and University of Hartford baseball.
