SPHERE is holding a spin fund-raiser on Friday, May 2, at 6 p.m. at JoyRide Ridgefield.
SPHERE is a local organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with disabilities.
The Spin for SPHERE ride is a 50-minute cycle class. It requires a $50 minimum donation.
Spinners will have a chance to win tickets to the opening night of SPHERE’s 2014 movie of the year, The Greatest Gatsby, at the Ridgefield Playhouse in the fall.
In keeping with the Great Gatsby theme, participants are invited to dress flapper-style for this fun charity event. Afterward, all riders are invited to join SPHERE for an after-party at the Ancient Mariner.
“We are excited to take advantage of this unique format for fund raising,” said Lori Berisford, chairman of the SPHERE board. “We think JoyRide has been a wonderful addition to the community and appreciate their donating the studio in order for us to raise funds for this cause.”
