Friends of the Ridgefield Library is holding its Spring Book Sale in the Yanity Gym, 60 Prospect Street, May 2 to 5.
More than 30,000 items will be arranged in nearly 70 categories. Included are adult fiction and nonfiction, hardcover and paperback books, numerous children’s books, a collection of Old & Collectible, and CDs and DVDs.
Early Buying is on Friday, May 2, from 9 to noon, at $10 per person for nonmembers.
On Friday from noon to 8 p.m., entry is free, as on all remaining days of the sale: Saturday, May 3, 9 to 5 p.m.; Sunday, May 4, noon to 5 p.m., all books half price; Monday, May 5, 9 to 4 p.m., a bag of books for $5.
All funds raised by the Friends, a volunteer organization, supply volunteer support and dollars to the Ridgefield Library. The Friends makes possible many library programs, provides support for the library staff and purchases special items for the library.
