A car flipped over on Branchville Road in the area of No. 542 Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported around 3:25 p.m. When police and firefighters arrived a few minutes later they reported that all except one occupant were out of the car. Soon after the trapped person was able to get out and an ambulance left for Danbury Hospital around 3:41 p.m.

A tow truck was called to flip the car over and remove it.
Around 3:43 firefighters reported they would wait on scene until a wrecker arrived to remove the car.
Police reported around 4 p.m. that the road was cleared.
Two witnesses told The Press the car was traveling westbound — toward town — when it flipped over.
