Leather Macramé Bracelet with Beads is a new jewelry class in Ridgefield Continuing Education. Students will learn how to macramé using an old technique to make current fashionable jewelry pieces.
Instructor Viola Galetta has been creating jewelry and beading for years. She has been sharing her hobby in classes at area recreation and senior centers.
Class meets on Wednesday, April 9, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Venus Building or Wednesday, May 7, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at East Ridge Middle School. Advance registration required. Cost is $29 plus $15 for materials payable to the instructor.
