Digital Photography classes are available through Ridgefield Continuing Education.
Instructor Michael Serao said, “Knowing how your camera works and what is necessary to create a good exposure will ensure that you get the kind of pictures you want.”
Participants need a camera that allows some manual control over exposure (look for controls labeled (M), manual, aperture priority or shutter priority).
Mr. Serao, an artist and photographer, has taught many art and photography classes in Ridgefield in addition to design at WCSU. Beginning Photography meets on Thursdays, April 3, 10, 24 and May 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. and costs $86.
For people who are comfortable with the basics, More Photography starts Thursday, May 8 (four sessions) and Making Better Photographs is available starting June 5. Photoshop Elements is also available. Advanced registration is required. Visit ridgefieldschools.org or phone Peggy Bruno at 203-431-2812 for information.
