Busy winter for Rotary Sunrise

Ridgefield Rotary Club Sunrise has been busy this winter. The group collected more than $3,500 worth of food items and $875 in cash and gift cards for the Ridgefield Food Pantry and more than $1,400 to assist the Disabled American Veterans organization. Sunrise recently presented a check to the town of Ridgefield. From left are John Metzger, president of Sunrise, Ken Whipperman, owner of Ridgefield Liquor Shop, Tony Phillips, director of Ridgefield Social Services, and Larry Gardner, assistant governor, Area 3, Rotary International.
