The Ridgefield Theater Barn will hold open auditions for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, book by Alex Timbers, music and lyrics by Michael Friedman, at 37 Halpin Lane, on Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25, at 7 p.m.
Directed by Alicia Dempster and produced by Wayne Leiss, the production will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings from May 30 through June 28, with Sunday matinees June 9, 16 and 25 at 5.
The director is looking for an ensemble of actors who are “excellent storytellers and have a good understanding of comedic styles, especially improvisation. Actors who sing and/or play instruments are a plus, but this is in no way a requirement for this show.”
Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson is non-traditional and encourages breaking the fourth wall, audience participation, and rocking out.
