According to October 2013 grand list, which was finalized last week, Ridgefield’s top 10 taxpayers account for some $336 million — roughly 7% — of the town’s $4.7-billion tax base. The top 10 taxpayers and their new assessments are:
1. Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc.: $223,697,005.
2. Connecticut Light & Power Co.: $20,495,300.
3. Equity One Inc. (Copps Hill Plaza): $19,390,000.
4. Stephen J. Zemo (numerous commercial and multi-family residential properties): $13,523,150.
5. Ridgefield Professional Office (medical office complex, 901 Ethan Allen Highway): $12,832,900.
6. Flat Rock Corp. (Silver Spring Country Club): $11,437,200.
7. E. Hunter Harrison (87-acre horse farm on Old Stagecoach Road): $9,594,428.
8. Eureka V LLC (153 acres, undeveloped land approved for multifamily complex): $9,366,880.
9. Ireif II (Ridgefield Crossings Assisted Living, 640 Danbury Road): $8,321,370.
10. Ridgefield Waterside Properties LLC (BMW of Ridgefield): $7,695,280.
